HYMN 10 Indra

Come, priest, and of the savoury juice pour forth a yet more gladdening draught!
So is the hero praised who ever prospers us.

2

Indra, whom tawny coursers bear, praise such as thine, preeminent,
None by his power or by his goodness hath attained.

3

We, seeking glory, have invoked this God of yours, the Lord of wealth,
Who must be magnified by constant sacrifice.
