Araria District is concerned with two Parliamentary Constituencies. First Parliamentary Constituency is 22 - Araria (S.C.) which is formed of six Assembly Constituencies, that are 1. 127-Raniganj (S.C.), 2. 128-Narpatganj, 3. 129-Forbesganj, 4. 130-Araria, 5. 113-Triveniganj, 6. 114-Chhatapur. Out of these six Assembly Constituencies, first four are of Araria District and rest two (fifth & sixth) are of Supaul District. Second Parliamentary Constituency is 23-Kishanganj which includes two Assembly Constituencies of Araria District and those are 131-Sikti & 132-Jokihat. Araria District is divided into six Assembly constituencies, which are, 1. 127-Raniganj (S.C.), 2. 128-Narpatganj, 3. 129-Forbesganj, 4. 130-Araria, 5. 131-Sikti, 6. 132-Jokihat.
