HYMN 10 Indra

We make this Indra very strong to strike the mighty Vritra dead:
A vigorous hero shall he be.

This Indra, made for giving gifts, is stablished, mightiest, in strength,
Bright, meet for Soma, famed in song.

By song, as 'twere' the powerful bolt which none may parry, was prepared:
Strong and invincible he grew.
